When do I get my Heroic Resource?
After playing and running The Delian Tomb a few times, I’ve found that people struggle to remember what the triggers are for gaining their heroic resource. The paragraphs can be hard to parse while managing all the other new mechanics, so I pulled all the triggers out of the paragraphs and made a cheat sheet.
Troubadour
Every Turn: 1d3 drama
First time 3+ heroes use an ability in a single turn: 2 drama
First time a hero is winded in the encounter: 2 drama
When a creature within your line of effect rolls a natural 19 or 20: 3 drama
When any hero dies: 10 drama
Fury
Every Turn: 1d3 ferocity
First time you take damage in a round: 1 ferocity
First time you become winded in an encounter: 1d3 ferocity
First time you become dying in an encounter: 1d3 ferocity
Tactician
Every Turn: 2 focus
First time each round you or an ally damages a creature marked by you: 1 focus
First time each round an ally within 10 squares uses a heroic ability: 1 focus
Censor
Every Turn: 2 wrath
First time each round a creature judged by you deals damage to you: 1 wrath
First time each round you deal damage to a creature judged by you: 1 wrath
Null
Every Turn: 2 discipline
First time each round an enemy in your Null Field uses a main action: 1 discipline
First time each round the Director uses a Malice ability: 1 discipline
Talent
Every Turn: 1d3 clarify
First time each round a creature is force moved: 1 clarity
Conduit
Every Turn: 1d3 piety
First time in an encounter when a creature within 10 regains stamina: 2 piety
First time in an encounter when an enemy takes fire or holy damage: 2 piety
Prayer: roll 1d3.
1 = 1 piety + 1d6+(character level) damage, cannot be reduced
2 = 1 piety
3 = 2 piety and activate a domain effect
Elementalist
Every Turn: 2 essence
First time each round you or a creature takes damage other than untyped or holy: 1 essence
Shadow
Every Turn: 1d3 insight
First time each round you deal damage using 1+ surges: 1 insight
